Depart Nairobi at 7.30 am. Drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon tour of Lake Nakuru which is a seasonal home for millions of flamingos and many other species of birds. This is the best place to view the endangered species like the Rothschild giraffes and the white rhinos. Depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast. Lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game viewing in the reserve that borders Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or similar lodge.
