Itinerary

Have an early morning pick-up from your hotel and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road heading for Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest wildlife sanctuary. The access to the park will be through the Bachuma gate. The park holds the country’s largest elephant population, known as the "red elephants".

The game drive meanders through vast plains interspersed with woodlands which behold captivating views of the Taita Hills and the impressive Yatta Plateau to Aruba. Exploring the hinterlands of the park is a rewarding experience with opportunities where you might see lions, cheetahs, or great herds of buffaloes stampeding across the plains.

Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. Go on another game drive in the afternoon before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart for a morning game drive. Later, exit the park and proceed to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary, which hosts varied species of birds and animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Dinner and overnight are at Salt Lick Safari Lodge.

Go on an early morning game drive in the sanctuary. On a clear day, you'll see the imposing magnificence of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro during your morning drive. Later, return to the resort. Drive back to Diani Beach after breakfast, arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.
