Free-time activities:
Volunteers are based in the remote village in western Kenya called Abimbo. With artisanal minning activities running fo 24 hours ad mostly active during the day, its always an excellent idea to take it easy during your free time and have some fun away from this busy environment by taking part in any of the following adventures:
-Short safari, usualy 3 days to Masai Mara
-Boat riding and bird-watching trip in the nearby lake Victoria
-A visit to Kisumu museum, Kit Kikayi pre-historic site
-Cultural adventure tours including Wizzard tracking, a visit to the local magicians, religious sects and divine healers.
