In the morning, you will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. Then head on to meet up with your professional safari guide. The tour guide will give you a safari briefing of the wildlife you should expect to see, the Masai Mara Game Park Rules, travel duration to your destination and activities that you can participate while in the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is situated on the South-Western region of Kenya. This park is one of the most prestigious Game Parks in the world. Your journey from your hotel takes you through the scenic Rift Valley. While travelling through the Rift valley escarpments, you can opt to take a break for a photography moment at the Rift-Valley’s viewpoint. This 5 and a half hour journey across Kenya’s scenic Rift valley floor is truly memorable. You will get to spot monkeys, zebras, antelopes before even getting to the Masai Mara.
Upon your arrival, you will proceed to check-in at your tented camp in the Masai Mara. We choose the best tented camps and lodges for you. The hotels or tented camps we opt for are in close proximity to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Making them ideal while going for game-drives. After your delicious lunch at your hotel, you will proceed for an afternoon game viewing inside the Masai Mara. During this time of day, prides of lions are seen basking under the tall Savannah grasslands while cheetahs can be spotted stalking their next prey.
You will spend the following 4 days in the Masai Mara.
The Game park is home to the Big 5 wildlife that include; buffalo, lion, leopard, and elephants. This are Kenya’s largest animals. Other than the big 5, the Mara ecosystem is home to various wildlife and bird species. Including; giraffes, hippos, hyena, crocodiles while the birds include Ostrich,Grebes, Heron, Secretary birds, Vultures, Eagles among many more bird species.
The main attraction in this esteemed game park is the annual wildebeest migration safari. This migration occurs every year from July to September. More than 500,000 wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania crossing over to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Mara River and also Talek River. The dramatic scenes are when the wildebeest and zebras cross over and the predators are hot on their heels to catch their next meal. It is truly an ideal photographic moment while on this safari.

At the start of our Masai Mara Wildebeest migration safari your tour guide will pick you up from Best Western Meridian Nairobi hotel at 07:00 hrs - a safari briefing session with our tour consultant then drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley.
Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sun downer as you trail the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar
On day 3 of our Masai Mara wildebeest safari you will have early breakfast then head out with a picnic lunch to the Mara River, hoping to see a dramatic river crossing or two.
It is quite some sight to see the massed herds take a leap of faith into the Mara or Talek rivers with the Nile crocodiles lying in wait for them. Return to Mara Sopa Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight stay

We will spend the day exploring and taking photographs in Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse bird life. We have the option to either have full and complete day out in the field when lunch can be served out on the savannah or we can return to the lodge for lunch. Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here. We are definitely at ‘Predator Central’ here and there can be few.
if any wildlife spectacles anywhere in the world that can rival the tension, drama and emotion of a Mara crossing. As many as a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra attempt this epic journey each year. Watching as thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather at a crossing point you can almost feel the pressure build on the animals at the front as they consider the right time to attempt to cross the dangerous waters of the crocodile-infested Mara River. It is, however, a time of plenty for the gigantic Nile Crocodiles that live in the river and lie in wait as hundreds of thousands of animals head north from the Serengeti Plains to feed on the lush Mara grasslands. After breakfast we check out of the lodge and drive to Nairobi, arriving Nairobi by 1400 hrs where our Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari ends.
