Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu
Depart Nairobi at 7.30 am, drive to Samburu National Reserve across Equator, travel through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's Zebra, Beisa, oryx, gerenuk. These species are rarely found elsewhere. The bird life is especially notable. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Samburu budget Camping.
Day 2: Samburu
Full day with morning and afternoon game drives. Optional visit to Samburu villages in the evening. Meals and overnight at Samburu budget Camping.
Day 3: Samburu/Mt. Kenya
Depart Samburu and drive to Mt Kenya arriving at Nanyuki, the base hotel for lunch afternoon visit the Mau Mau caves where the freedom fighters use hide during the second world war, dinner and over in Nanyuki in a budget hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru
Depart Mt Kenya after breakfast for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon game drive until late afternoon, then proceed to your Nakuru budget hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Baringo/ Lake Bogoria
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast we make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, arriving at Lake Baringo in time for Lunch. Have an afternoon day trip to Lake Bogoira to explore the Lake Geysers and Hot spring and in good day you will view Kudus, Antelopes, Giraffes,later depart back to Baringo, Optional Boat Ride at the Lake. Overnight at Lake Baringo budget hotel.
Day 6: Lake Baringo/Lake Naivasha
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha , have a Hike at Hell's Gate with picnic lunch, afterward drive to the Camp in the afternoon, you will have an Optional Sundowner boat ride to Crescent Island well known for its birdlife. Dinner and overnight in Lake Naivasha budget hotel.
Day 7: Naivasha/Maasai Mara
Leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast and head for Maasai Mara National Reserve which is famous for it's great herds of wild game. All animals found in Kenya among the "big five" are found here. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara budget Camping.
Day 8: Maasai Mara
From the camp, we explore the Mara game reserve, packed with the elephants, zebras, rhinos and all kinds of game through out the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Being at Maasai Mara is "as if you found yourself in the New York of the natural world according to some authorities". Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara budget Camping.
Day 9: Maasai Mara
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive picnic lunch served in the park. Leisure in the evening or visit the Maasai villages- at a small fee paid separately to Masai elders. Meals and overnight at Masai Mara Camping.
Day 10: Masai Mara/Amboseli
Depart Masai Mara after breakfast and proceed to Amboseli, lunch will be served en-route to the Park. Upon arrival at the the Park have a game-drive enroute to your budget camping site. Amboseli is at the Slope or Foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli budget Camping.
Day 11: Amboseli
Full day with two game drive. Meals and overnight at Amboseli budget Camping.
Day 12: Amboseli - Nairobi
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, with game-drive en-route, arriving late afternoon.
